Quotation typically refers to a document generated by the system that provides a detailed breakdown of the products or services a customer is interested in purchasing, along with their corresponding prices. However, a quotation is not a finalized sale. Instead, it serves as a formal estimate or proposal that outlines the potential costs for the customerβs consideration before making a purchase decision. Quotations in POS systems are useful in scenarios where customers want to inquire about prices or discuss options before committing to a purchase. They can include information such as item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, subtotal, taxes, discounts, and total amount due. Once a customer approves the quotation, it can be converted into an invoice or sales order to proceed with the transaction.
Add Quotation
To send a new quotation, expand the Quotation menu from the left sidebar and click on the Add Quotation option. From the Item field, select the items one by one that you want to include in the quotation. This ensures only the required items are added before sending.
Expand the Quotation menu from the left sidebar.
Click on the Add Quotation option.
Go to the Item field.
Select the items one by one to add to the quotation.
Fill up the required field and hit the submit button.
Click on the βSave and Add Moreβ button to save the quotation and create a new one.
Click on βSave and Downloadβ button to save and download the quotation.
Click on the βSave and Emailβ button to save the quotation and send it to the customerβs email.
Click on βSave and Printβ button to save and print the quotation.
List Quotation
To view a list of quotations, expand the Quotation menu from the left sidebar. Then, click on the List Quotation option to see all created quotations. This helps in reviewing, managing, and tracking quotation records easily.
Expand the Quotation menu from the left sidebar.
Click on the List Quotation option.
View and manage the list of quotations.
The system allows you to easily manage your quotation invoices. From the Actions column, you can choose whether to print or download your invoice. This helps you keep both soft and hard copies for record-keeping.
Print Invoice β Click to get a hard copy of the quotation invoice.
Download Invoice β Click to save the quotation invoice as a file on your device.
