Add Damage
The Damage option for general products allows you to record damaged items that do not fall under any specific product type such as serial, IMEI, or variation. This helps in keeping overall stock records accurate, ensures proper monitoring, and supports transparent reporting.
Go to the left sidebar and expand the Damage menu.
Click on the Add Damage option.
Select the General Product you want to record as damaged.
Enter the required details such as quantity and reason.
Save the entry to successfully add the damage record.
The General Product Damage option is used to record damaged items that are not linked to serial, IMEI, or variation types.It allows you to keep track of regular product damages.This process ensures accurate stock and inventory updates.From the Item field, choose a product of General Type.Selecting the right product type avoids reporting errors.
The entry will be used for proper monitoring and accountability.
After selecting a general item you will get a popup modal, Enter the quantity in the Quantity field for how many quantities you want to damage, Then click the Add to Cart button to add this item to the cart.
The Loss Amount and Damage Quantity fields help record the value and number of damaged general products. Entering these details ensures proper inventory updates, accurate reporting, and clear tracking of financial losses.
The Loss Amount field records the financial value of damaged products.
It is used to calculate the exact monetary loss.
The Damage Quantity field captures the number of items affected.
Both fields together ensure accurate stock and loss records.
These details improve monitoring and accountability.
Always verify the values before saving the record.
