Add Damage

The Damage option for serial products allows you to record damaged items that are tracked by unique serial numbers. This ensures proper monitoring of individual products, accurate reporting, and reliable stock management.

  • Go to the left sidebar and expand the Damage menu.

  • Click on the Add Damage option.

  • Select the Serial Product you want to record as damaged.

  • Enter the required details such as serial number, quantity, and reason.

  • Save the entry to successfully add the damage record.

The Serial Product Damage option is used to record items tracked by unique serial numbers.It ensures that damaged products are correctly identified.This process helps in accurate inventory tracking.From the Item field, choose a product of Serial Type.
Selecting the correct serial product prevents mismatches.
The entry will be used for reporting and monitoring.

After selecting Serial item you will get a popup modal, Enter the quantity in the Quantity field for how many Serials you want to damage, below field will be generated according to quantity number. Enter the Serial number in the Serial field. Then click the Add to Cart button to add these items to the cart.

The Serial Field Increase option allows you to add more serial numbers when recording serial products. This helps in tracking multiple items accurately and ensures that each damaged or managed product is properly recorded in the system.

  • Go to the Add Damage form for serial products.

  • Locate the Serial Field section.

  • Click on the Plus (+) button to add a new serial field.

  • Enter the additional serial number(s) as required.

  • Save the form to successfully record the details.

The Loss Amount field is used to record the financial value of damaged items. Entering this value helps in calculating the total monetary loss and maintaining accurate reports. It ensures proper tracking of losses and supports transparent inventory management.

  • Locate the Loss Amount field in the damage form.

  • Enter the total value of the damaged items.

  • Make sure the value matches the actual loss.

  • Double-check for accuracy before saving.

  • Save the record to update the loss amount successfully.
